There is no shortage of content creators these days, but a timely sensibility paired with a depth of knowledge and experience is rare – and valuable. On this week’s episode of YES, BRAND, I sit down with writer/director/editor/producer Warren Lam to chronicle his journey from “angry jr. ad agency copywriter” to “a kid with wisdom.”
From his days at Leo Burnett, Chicago, working on comedy spots for GM and Oldsmobile, to adventures in freelance creative, digital series and what he describes as a “media content universe” set in the world of action sports, Warren goes for the quirky, thought-provoking IP and then seeks out brands that might be a good fit for his audience.
We also revisit “Best Spectacular,” the never-released branded semi-reality series co-created with previous podcast guest Steve “Scof” Schofield (episode 19), and the pilot for which nears completion as we approach its 10th anniversary!
Please welcome Warren Lam to this episode of YES, BRAND!
