Scof turns sales into an art form on this episode of YES, BRAND!

Are you an artist or a salesman? In my conversation with Steve Schofield – aka “Scof” – it becomes apparent that the two are in no way mutually exclusive. In fact, in his 25+ years in the ad biz, Scof has turned sales itself into an art form. As Partner/Executive Producer at Mod/Op Films, he is a facilitator extraordinaire, marrying possibility to reality.
“Scof” and I go way back to 1990, a year before he moved from his hometown of Chicago to Los Angeles. The Schofield name brings with it a deep cultural history, dating back to the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre when “Scof’s” grandfather owned Schofield’s Flowers, providing wreaths and red roses in an era when being “branded” carried an altogether different implication.
Back in Chicago, Scof was a cop for seven years, and how he ended up in advertising is only the beginning of a fascinating conversation that surfs the deep waters of our careers, our friendship, along with Scof’s journey as a creative, resourceful producer…and a force of nature.
Please welcome Scof to this episode of YES, BRAND!
