Who knew it would be so much fun talking to my lawyer?
Yes, Zack Rozio is my lawyer and my business partner, but he’s so much more. An expert in franchise, distribution, and brand protection, Zack has a unique perspective on the power of creative marketing. I call him a “do-gooder” in the best sense: an honest, principled and stunningly eloquent practitioner of the law (reminding me in many ways of my dad).

He’s also a highly charged political commentator; at Wesleyan University, he double-majored Integrated Social Studies and International Relations Concentration. This led to his work on political campaigns in Philadelphia, PA, and for the California Attorney General’s Office. Zacky served as Deputy Press Secretary on the Van de Kamp for Governor campaign. He earned his JD from Loyola Law School (Los Angeles) in 1993. Alongside Propeller5 CEO Isack Fadlon, Zacky founded the law firm of Fadlon & Rozio two years later and has built that practice over the succeeding two decades with a high-profile clientele spanning corporate, transactional and brand protection work, as well as business litigation. Now, he’s thrown his lot in with Isack, Justo Diaz, and me, bringing his thoughtfulness, dedication, and creativity to some very wonderful brand partners.
While we talk some politics, Zack and I delve more deeply into the immigrant experience, his parents’ journeys from Cuba to America, the road from childhood to fatherhood, and of course, brotherhood.
